Menus Reference
Every menu-bar command in one place. Most items also have a keyboard shortcut, shown beside each one.
The NeonDAW menu
The app menu holds Settings and the standard macOS items.

| Settings… | ⌘, | Opens Settings: General, Audio & MIDI, Metronome, My Info, and Assistant. |
| Quit NeonDAW | ⌘Q | Quits the app. If the project has unsaved changes, NeonDAW asks to save first. |
The File menu
Projects live in .neon files. See Projects & Files for the details.

| New Project | ⌘N | Starts a fresh project. |
| Open… | ⌘O | Opens a .neon project from disk. |
| Open Recent | Lists the projects you opened last. Clear Menu empties the list. | |
| Close | ⌘W | Closes the project, not just the window. You get a save prompt if there are unsaved changes. |
| Save | ⌘S | Saves the project. The amber dot on the project name means there are unsaved changes. |
| Save As… | ⇧⌘S | Saves a copy under a new name. This is also how you rename a project. |
| Import MIDI File… | Brings a .mid file in as instrument tracks. See Import & Export. | |
| Export Mix… | ⌘E | Renders your mix to WAV, M4A, or MP3. |
The Edit menu
Edit works on whatever you have selected, and it follows the focused window. In the main window that means clips or a highlighted range. In the piano roll it means notes. A text field you are typing in always keeps its own cut, copy, and paste.

| Undo | ⌘Z | Undoes the last arrangement edit. The piano roll and pitch editor have their own histories. |
| Redo | ⇧⌘Z | Redoes what you just undid. |
| Cut | ⌘X | Cuts the selection. A highlighted range wins over selected clips. |
| Copy | ⌘C | Copies the selection. |
| Paste | ⌘V | Pastes at the playhead, then moves the playhead to the end of the paste. |
| Delete | ⌫ | Deletes the selected clips, range, or notes. |
| Select All | ⌘A | Selects every clip in the arrangement, or every note in the piano roll. |

The View menu
The three bottom-panel toggles. Opening one panel swaps out the other, and the same buttons live in the transport bar.

The Window menu
Minimize and Zoom live here. They have no shortcuts: ⌘M belongs to the mixer in NeonDAW.

Help inside the app: the faint ⓘ badges on panels open short explainer cards, right where you need them.
